Immunization Services

Wellness Center

  • Walk-in center
  • Services available: HIV testing/counseling, Adult Immunizations, Tb testing, referrals, pregnancy testing, low cost physicals by appointment.

  • Emergency call:
  • 24 hour emergency medical services
  • Basic & Advanced life support services
  • All certified paramedics on the emergency medical team
  • Response coordinated with police & fire departments
  • Educational programs
  • NO out of pocket expenses for City residents

Environmental Health Services

  • Inspection of all food service establishments and vending machines, temperatures, food safety, etc.
  • Investigation of foodborne disease outbreaks
  • Inspections of school, nursing homes, day care centers, recreation areas, swimming pools & new septic systems
  • Investigation of public health complaints
  • Regulates & enforces solid waste storage
  • Investigation of trash, weed, & vector complaints
  • Environmental lead inspections

Epidemiology

  • Collection & analysis of Public Health data
  • Investigation of epidemics or foodborne outbreaks
  • Collects, maintains, & analyzes vital statistics information for the City Resource for city, county and/or state statistics related to health.
